Absolute Aromas Melissa Type Oil 10ml

Melissa is one of the most adulterated and copied essential oils and genuine Melissa oil makes up only a small fraction of the amount that is sold commercially. As the cost is so prohibitive, this blend of essential oils has been produced to resemble the aroma. The blend includes Lemon, Lemongrass and Citronella among others. It contains no True Melissa.

As its components are oils high in insect-repellent chemicals, Melissa Type is also very good at keeping flying pests at bay. 

Blend of essential oils including Lemon, Lemongrass and Citronella among others. It contains no True Melissa.

For flying pests blend 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Cedarwood in a burner or diffuser. As this oil is already a blend, it makes an ideal diffusing oil in its own right.

For a refreshing, cleansing aroma, try 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Rosemary in a burner or diffuser.

For a smoother, more floral aroma, try 2 drops of Geranium with 4 drops of Melissa Type or 3 drops of Lavender with 4 drops of Melissa.

This oil also complements Cedarwood, Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender, Ylang Ylang or the spice oils.
